Since we recently moved to Rockwall County and a few online associates have asked for nearby equestrian facilities, etc. I decided to add a section. I'm just posting the ones I've been to. Any comments are my opinion only - I'm utilizing my first amendment rights here. I'll be adding more as I find new places.

Nice feed store. Sell good hay, Acco brand feeds, sometimes chickens, basic supplies. Often have free puppies over the weekend. Very nice people.

Double V Equestrian Center |
The first thing one has to say about this place is gorgeous facility! Beautiful pastures, nice fencing, nice barn, huge arena, etc. I here the boarding price is very reasonable too, but I think they take a limited number. Last time I was there, there was one barn of general boarders (primarily english - hunter/dressage/combined) and a second barn that was sub-leased to a Saddlebred trainer (Shanendoah stables - pardon the spelling). Resident dressage/english trainer is Barbara Lewis.

I'm biased on this one as Evan is a friend. He has horses for sale, offers boarding, and does breaking/training/re-training. He halter broke my two PMU fillies. Very nice people.

Ok, it's technically in Kaufman County, but close enough. What's to say - lots of stuff. Farm equipment, some horse supplies (though somewhat limited), wildlife feed, pasture fertilizer, water containers, shavings, mesh fencing, gates, clothing, etc. Something for everyone.

I have a serious addiction to frappachinos, so I thought I'd post their locations. There's one on the Southeast corner of Ridge Road and I-30 (not my favorite though - service is lackluster). There's another in the TA Truckstop at I-30 and FM 205. Another at Hwy. 66 and Dalrock in Rowlett, TX and one farther East on Hwy. 66 (towards Rockwall) by the Wal-Mart Market store.
